Neutron Health End-User Terms

Version 2026-10-16. These terms govern your use of Neutron Health, published by NeutronTech. By installing or using Neutron Health you agree to them.

1. What Neutron Health is

Neutron Health is clinical decision support software for use by clinicians in a clinic. It helps record an intake and presents an analysis to the clinician. It does not replace examination, clinical judgement, local protocols or emergency procedures. The clinician reviews, edits and signs every conclusion and is responsible for every clinical decision.

2. The MedGemma model and Google's Health AI Developer Foundations terms

Neutron Health includes MedGemma, which is part of Google's Health AI Developer Foundations ("HAI-DEF"). HAI-DEF is provided under and subject to the Health AI Developer Foundations Terms of Use found at https://developers.google.com/health-ai-developer-foundations/terms (the "HAI-DEF Terms"). A copy of the HAI-DEF Terms is included with Neutron Health and published at https://health.neutrontech.ai/hai-def-terms.html.

HAI-DEF, and Neutron Health insofar as it includes HAI-DEF, are subject to the use restrictions in section 3.2 of the HAI-DEF Terms. These restrictions are an enforceable part of these terms. You must not use Neutron Health or HAI-DEF:

1. for the restricted uses described in the Health AI Developer Foundations Prohibited Use Policy at https://developers.google.com/health-ai-developer-foundations/prohibited-use-policy (the "Prohibited Use Policy");
2. for any use that could cause a Health Regulatory Authority to deem Google to be a "manufacturer" of a medical device; or
3. in violation of applicable laws and regulations.

Google may restrict use of HAI-DEF that it reasonably believes violates the HAI-DEF Terms. If you distribute Neutron Health to anyone else, you must give them these terms, including the restrictions above, and a copy of the HAI-DEF Terms.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the outputs Neutron Health presents to you and for how they are used, including every decision taken after reviewing them.
• You are responsible for using Neutron Health in line with the laws, professional rules and clinic policies that apply to you, including obtaining any consent those require and protecting the patient information you record.
• Neutron Health may be used only by clinicians and clinic staff authorised by their clinic.

4. Patient information

Neutron Health processes patient information on the Mac where it is entered. Cases are kept encrypted on that Mac and, for backup and sharing between the clinic's Macs, on the clinic's hub Mac on the local network. Patient information is never sent to NeutronTech, to Google, to the cloud, or to this website.

5. Updates

Neutron Health checks NeutronTech's website for updates only when you turn checks on or ask for one. A check sends the app's version and no patient information. Every update is signed by NeutronTech and verified on your Mac before it installs, and nothing installs while a case is open.

6. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neutron Health and its outputs are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and NeutronTech is not liable for decisions made using them. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
